Ellen has been proven to be mean and heartless as it is what we hear from people who deal with her. She fooled people during her show, pretending to be a decent human being, but she evidently is anything but. She lost her show but she has accumulated enough money over the years, to have a very comfortable life. She does not seem to care about anyone in her past. Not impressed with her. Many gays keep old friendships connected over the years, and it is nice to see . Ellen is not one of these people.

She had likely been unconscious , when they took her out of the burning car. She came to, while been transported, covered up like a corpse. I suspect she was trying to breathe....The toxic fumes take a little while to get into all the organs and damage them but I expect her lungs were gone....Does not take that long for the brain to be affected and no, she did not throw a clot after being sedated. Carbon monoxide is a way some people die from. Her reaction to run was motor driven....All of her organs were already damaged. She would have been majorly confused yet feeling the pain from the burns and unable to breathe. The medics likely thought she was dead, when she got taken out. . She was in a body bag that Anne pushed open. Hope her sons can get that picture out of their minds. I doubt they will. That was a scary scene.

Pretty sure she has left that body, days ago. Her soul is in a healing place......She has a lot of healing to do.

That was a motor response and she was trying to breathe. The toxic fumes did a number on her lungs and her brain. It is not only carbon monoxide but all the poisons of the stuff that was burning......There was no way she could survive that. She sat in the burning car a long time. They said she was in a medical induced coma and that is what happens when people get intubated. When they tried to turn off the vent, she did not show any activity, I expect and could not breathe on her own. By then, the brain was showing the affect of the smoke she had inhaled. The brain is delicate and starts degraded just a few minutes when not perfused with clean blood. Can't reverse that.

It is a very personal thing how individuals handle this issue. Everyone is different. Anne had a complex and difficult life but she could soar above and find love and happiness, and then, she sank to the abyss. She is free now. She paid a hefty price sitting in that car, breathing the toxic smoke while feeling the burns on her skin. Not the way we want to go, if we get a choice.

At this point, it was a motor response. Had she been left alone, she would have dropped and likely died, on her own., pretty quickly , without having to go on the vent. We interfere and take over, going into the motions to "save " people. Often we just have corpses on ventilators, while the families decide whether organs will be taken or not. That is the system in our society. Hard to die alone, especially in such situation, when it was made a public "spectacle". She was a vulnerable person and she became the property of the establishment, which took over. On occasions, it saves people but on many, it just prolongs their suffering while the medical expenses go through the roof. ICU on the vent for a few days, can buy someone a luxurious house. Her insurance or her estate will have to pay that bill, as well......You get nothing for donating your organs but hospitals make a killing for transplanting them. Food for thoughts. I have been in the medical "industry" many years and I would not want it done to me. I will not give nor will I receive. Dying all alone in the woods, would be lovely......Keeping an eye on that possibility ! the dream ! Ha......we all have different views......

I expected it. She sat in that burning car way too long ; better move on at this point. The recovery is not likely possible. To much damage was done to her body. If her organs were viable, the recovery of the burns would be a painful experience . She should be set free , not worrying about donating organs......hers should not be in a condition people are looking for. Let her go, with all her body parts......Time to celebrate her life !

They had a week to ponder upon it. There is always some hope even though, none seems possible. We go into denial about the end. She was a tormented soul who finally got free. I think her soul has left her damaged body, soon after she was intubated. She left. She was done.

yeah. That time is spent to allow the families to decide. In the case of Anne, she is getting her organs flushed....and evaluated.

No we do not. It has been reminded with practically every comment. The woman is fine and so are her 2 dogs and that is a miracle in itself. Yes she will get a new house, compliments of Anne's estate. That's how it goes. Less for these boys who need to learn how to be independent, without their generous mom. I expect she was.

Her decision was evidently impaired by what ever condition she was in. We found out she had cocaine on board, but maybe something else, they have not "picked-up". She was a confused and troubled person, who should not have had a driver's license. That is a fact, in our faces. Anyone can drive....like the TX traveling nurse who drove at some insane speed, through a red light and killed 6 people. She had a myriad of accidents in her past and could still drive a Mercedes......She needs to be locked up for life but she likely will end up free......getting her paws on a car, whether she has a license or not. People are difficult to control as we all want our "freedom "....Not fair for their victims and all these families who are grieving. ..

She had to be taking it, shortly after she had the visit at the hair place, where she purchased a red wig. She seemed normal and happy. She went out of control pretty fast. We may never know exactly what happened to her. She will not be telling us.

No-one should be concerned about that man. He wiggled out of killing his camera person and is moving on in his status quo, making more babies. No respect for him as he tried to blame everyone else, yet he had the smoking gun ! I was hopping he would lose all of his money but it does not seem to have happened.

When someone gets on life support which is being on a vent, they always say " they are stable". It is silly as it gives false hope to their loved ones. They usually do it, until they can evaluate and see if the families will agree to organs harvesting. It is the drill. I remember hearing about Joan Rivers being "stable" when she was evidently brain dead and had been since that attempted procedure. She coded and within a few minutes, the brain is gone if it is not perfused. By the time they send these patients to a formal ER, they are "toast"....Joan was too old to be donating organs.....but they can always do a tissue harvest....bones, skin, etc......

They found cocaine in her system and Fentanyl but it is often used during the intubation, so not sure about that one. Cocaine was not given to her in the hospital.

agree. However there is a huge shortage and a long waiting list so they could always use marginal ones. Her lungs are gone but her heart may still be good as well as her kidneys. Her liver ? probably not. Potential recipients have to be informed of the quality of the organs they may receive. I remember a cardiac surgeon asking the family of a patient on the waiting list if they could use a heart that had been cleaned of clots as Heparin had been forgotten.....It is a blood thinner. It was seriously flushed but still. there could have been some small clots left .....I think we ended up not using it. That is how desperate, we get about getting organs......The surgeon was willing to let the family decide. What a burden for them !

Intent ? no.....not an intent as the thinking abilities are impaired when people are under the influence. There is no self evaluation of their actions....Priorities have shifted ; just basic motor reactions.

She is not waking up. She is gone.....they have not yet pronounced her. They are waiting to see if her internal organs will clean up enough to be harvested. People are desperate to get organs......but not those.......Some are marginal but they get used anyway. There is a shortage and lots of people are on a waiting list.
