  2. yeah....criminals kill these people for personal reasons. The criminal element seems to run high in some places more than others. Does it have to do with recruiters, taking, anyone.....without evaluation or investigation ? Probably ! like the guy who killed Guillen with the hammer , using his girlfriend to chop her up ? it does not get any lower than that. I don't believe it was not obvious, that man was a toxic humanoid. He had to show signs.......the recruiter missed it. Very sad for that poor girl and her family.

  5. No it does not. Murder does not validate honor but it is a red flag, he was likely hanging around with the wrong people as Vanessa was. They deserve no credit but should have been more vigilant and cautious who they talked to and spent time with. The kid is no hero but I see an opportunistic who wanted to use the military for the GI bill and the free education. Did he not know the GI bill had been eliminated ?

  6. Being murdered is no justification for hero burial. If anything it should be seen as perhaps weak, if, in a situation where he would be in danger yet, unable to defend himself ? I see it as not using proper caution. Rarely do people get murdered, out of the blue. There is usually something that can be traced and evaluated that triggered that act. Certainly sad for his family but I see no hero there, just a victim.

  8. Well, that is interesting as it seems to be burial ground for murdered Gi's. Who promoted the location ? someone did. They do not seem related but they may be and the burial site is becoming very suspicious. The guy that blew his brains will never talk but that girlfriend who is currently in jail, may cut a deal.

  11. They will be lucky if they get money to bury him. Forget the military honors. He did nothing to validate that. Getting murdered is not a badge of honor and there is no more GI bill ! Gone. Get over it. People get murdered all the time and they do not get special treatment.
