  1. In such emergency there is no time for checklists. It is survival they worry about. They would have survived without that cement wall, they crashed into. That was the end as the collision and the fire, destroyed everything. A miracle there were 2 survivors who were at the very end of the cabin. They seem to be OK. Will suffer PTSD for many years.

  2. Not confirmed at all about the birds. It is also what we heard about that plane in Khazakstan until it became clear, it was caused by a surface to air missile. The bird comment is likely a coincidence.

  6. What is the puff of white mist ? smoke ? that comes out from what seems to be an engine ? anything hydraulic ? I am not seeing a bird but who could ? Had not been that cement wall at the vicinity of the runway, likely the plane would have stopped and no one would have died. That cement wall needs to go. Thank you for respecting the birds !! yes they were here before us and we need to respect them, not eliminate them. It is their sky as well as ours.

  7. Koreans are emotional people They easily get offended and want to save their honor and respect, at all cost. I worked with a Korean nurse and I got to understand her priorities which were different than mine, typical Euro/Westerner. I also worked with a Chinese nurse who had a similar type of behavior ; always protecting self image. Interesting how different cultures see events, differently.

  8. Did he have issues with his hydraulics ? No landing gear and that speed are suspicious......he got off the runway and hit a building. If he had been able to miss that structure, he may have been safe.....enough not to crash and catch fire. Very sad.

  9. It was determined the EMB was hit by a surface to air missile. No mistake, all the facts are there. Very likely accidental, however.......this is happening too often. These wars have to stop. We need to get civilized and stop fighting each other.

  10. That cement wall was to avoid expenses ? Well, that is going to bite them in their "arses". They are responsible for killing all these people. Hope the families sue them. Do they sue in NK as we would in the US ? maybe not. Getting a new president now, let's see how it goes.....That one wanted Marshall Law on the people ? not cool at all.

  16. Clearly it will not be the fault of the pilots. It appears to be a hydraulic failure as to what caused it , is what they need to find out. They will.

  17. The rudders still worked ? evidently. They could have made it alive , had that structure not been there. The plane would have been damaged but not torn to pieces and burnt.

  18. Their memory will likely come back but it is normal to have temporary amnesia in such traumatic situation . They will have PTSD for a long time, but they seem OK otherwise . A real miracle. They were sitting at the very end of the cabin.

  19. I agree. Very ominous especially right after the plane, going to Russia, that got evidently been hit by a surface to air missile. We know the fat man from NK is not on good terms with his relatives from the South. Did he have something to do with it ?
