  5. Seems like there was a glitch in the sale of that house. The guy was living in there......I would sue the Real Estate people that sold them that house. They need to stop paying bills on it....and get their money back. Don't even try to get in. Just get out of that contract. Let the city deal with the squatter and I expect, they would manage to find a way to kick him out of there as he cannot afford to pay the bills. The city would have no problem, breaking in and dumping his stuff by the curb. They can also cut off the utilities. See how long he can stay without anything......

  13. Don't forget that priceless sentence "You were afraid for your life". I lived in Houston, for many years and we had cops giving us lectures how to protect ourselves from burglars, when at home. They would tell us " if someone is breaking your door down, shoot that person, but make sure you drag the body totally inside your house. ". If you don't and they survive, they would sue you. So ? drag them in, just , so they do not have their legs out. I never had to do that as I was burglarized, twice, while I was at work. Irony ! and they stole my gun. Ha...ha.......
