  3. . He had anxiety attacks probably from the meds given to him and he could not sleep. No sleep can give people suicidal tendencies. This is basic. He had emotional issues not mental issues. I do not see a mentally ill kid. His IQ was likely high and he needed to be busy and doing sports, to wear him out. Also his diet should have been scrutinized. No sugar.

  4. There are ways to stop this. You hold them and rock with them.....tune into their frequency. You need that close physical contact to make them feel secure and forget about their pain as it is imaginary. The brain does not feel pain but the mind gets tortured yet it is not physical. Mental pain is real but since it is not physical, people have issues dealing with it. Drugs only numb them but what helps is the close physical contact with another person or a pet. His pain was a disconnect. His family did not get it.....they went about their mellow lives and their mellow voices, as they lived in a mellow world, not able to comprehend what was going on into his head.

  5. Where you live seems to make a difference. Some locations are better than others. It has to do with how much money the state can afford on such cases. Sometimes parents pay for it. Maybe yours did and you simply do not know. Lucky you !

  8. MM could not be what the royal protocol wanted her to be.....She got too scrutinized including her shady past which triggered her to sue these tabloids. She was afraid they would expose pics she thought had long vanished. When you have some dirty laundry, you cannot live in a glass house. It is all it was, nothing racial even though that issue is always in the wings when people are in the news. Anyway, they are free now and see what they may do with that "freedom" they both so wanted.. They will no longer have to be deceptive. They can have another kid and tell the world, they are using a surrogate ! no biggie...and no need for moon bumps.

  9. He was so low key when his son was screaming in some agony. It irritated me, immensely. He did not feel his son's pain but instead used some mellow words, meaningless when someone is in such pain. He missed it.....such a gentle and suave man could not comprehend the agony his son was in. How could he not ? it is so obvious ! there was a huge disconnect there. These parents should have given their son to the control of the state. He may be alive now. Was it a disgrace to them? a sign of personal failure ? not if it can save your kid....you do what ever it takes, you cannot do yourself. Your pride should go out the window so you may do what is best for your child, you could not afford to do yourselves.

  11. I disagree. His parents failed him. They should have turned over his care to the state as they could not afford the tests. They were too proud to do so, so they made the decision to take him out of that program that had been successful for the child. Their mistake and their guilt.

  12. They have to be turned over to the state if parents cannot afford the treatments. The problem is they may do experiments on these kids and that is the scary stuff. Maybe it would have saved him or maybe not.

  13. The government should not be responsible for the children. Their parents should. Such an intensive follow up and treatment is never cheap and parents should be able to manage to find the resources. He was their child. Their responsibility.

  14. You are wise and you did all the right things ! Stability is huge and understanding of the situation. Some kids who behave that way have neurological issues but many just need structure and stability. It is a fine line between connecting and making their anxieties, stronger. So glad your son is fine and it was also clever not to tell him exactly the dosage of what he was getting......the power of the placebo or nocebo as they call it.

  16. If we look at pics of the crash, we can see one seat ejecting further away from the diving plane and another that seems to not have enough altitude to open . Did Captain Casey have to physically activate her ejection seat ? just wondering. So tragic. I actually did not notice any chute opening. It looked like streams, both did.

  19. People who bring children into the world should be ready to care for them. These parents had four kids already. Maybe the father should have had a vasectomy. They lived comfortably but claimed they could not afford to pay for the needed " tests ". That would be debatable. What are the priorities ? They also claim they were unaware of the cost of these tests...I see some ambiguity there. They did not want to spend the money......is what I see. They had their lifestyle to maintain.The kid was unexpectedly a problem they had trouble dealing with.

  25. Wrong information ! Captain Casey was NOT a pilot but she was their PR person and my guess is, she did not eject fast enough. It is physical and has to be performed, within .4 second , preferably before the dive starts. They had little altitude for chutes to open fully and it is a miracle the pilot survived. The ejection seats are individually operated. That is what I understand about these old airplanes.

  26. Excellent observation. He was misunderstood ? when these kids are observed, parents should also be going in for the eval. These parents seem totally low key and disconnected. These mellow voices could not comprehend the pain of their child. They cannot understand their detached voices trigger more pain in the kid who feels totally lost . There is physical contact needed. Hugs and rocking together, on the floor until the pain goes away.....did these parents do this ? I doubt. Touching is needed to dissipate the energy that is causing so much discomfort. The kid was screaming in anger and pain as he was getting nowhere. No one seemed to respond to his pain. Parents need training in these cases. The kid was hanging in the tree by his father's window. He sent him a last message.

  44. Accidents happen. Not his fault. They need to stop carrying PR people around. Reminds me of the teacher Christa who was flying with the crew of the Challenger. NASA stopped the PR after that tragic day. Only formal astronauts fly. They were considering sending rich people to the ISS but changed their minds. Their money is not "good enough" and the release forms they sign is not what these military organizations are about. Keep the separation between the military and the general population ! they just don't get the proper training or do not have the right intentions.
