  1. Wrong information ! Captain Casey was NOT a pilot but she was their PR person and my guess is, she did not eject fast enough. It is physical and has to be performed, within .4 second , preferably before the dive starts. They had little altitude for chutes to open fully and it is a miracle the pilot survived. The ejection seats are individually operated. That is what I understand about these old airplanes.

  2. Accidents happen. Not his fault. They need to stop carrying PR people around. Reminds me of the teacher Christa who was flying with the crew of the Challenger. NASA stopped the PR after that tragic day. Only formal astronauts fly. They were considering sending rich people to the ISS but changed their minds. Their money is not "good enough" and the release forms they sign is not what these military organizations are about. Keep the separation between the military and the general population ! they just don't get the proper training or do not have the right intentions.
