The AHA made new guidelines, ; if people do not drop while we see them, going down, we should not do CPR , on just anyone that is found unconscious. They could have been dead for 30 minutes... The healthcare industry uses these people for organ donations if the families agree. It is why hospitals like to take control. Always looking for organs. Lots of money to be made , for hospitals. Organs are donated free, but the bill to the recipients is over the top.

The pancreas essentially makes insulin so we could do fine without it, but by the time it is diagnosed, it is already metastasized in all nearby organs . It becomes a miserable death. There is an operation named the Whipple which cuts out all affected organ parts but I am suspicious about the extended longevity. It certainly is lucrative for general surgeons who perform these procedures. The recovery has to be extremely difficult if possible at all. I see the operations but I do not get to follow the patients ; and no one is talking. If life has been extended, what is the quality of the recovery ? the expense ? what are the numbers ? no one is giving estimated numbers as no one knows or wants to.

The father seems very tough as we can see him promote his son for what he used to be, an athlete in HS and someone who follows what his father and grandfather have done before him. Maybe it should not have been his choice ? Sometime, you should just listen instead of pushing or making demands to be the very best, kids can be. Sounds like a recruiter.......Not everyone can tolerate such a life style. Losing a child to suicide has to be the worst a parent has to suffer, as they feel , they have failed, at being a parent. In time, they will move on, but they need to learn how to let it all go. It is not their fault, as no one can be blamed for the unknown, that has not been shared. You have to let them go and forgive them. Only then , you can move on, as an individual, not responsible for another person. We see too many suicides of young kids. It goes against anything parents expect. The car crashes, motorcycles and other accidents , all can be "accepted," but the suicides are the hardest. My heart goes to them, especially towards her as she seems totally devastated. The efforts they are making to get to the bottom , will be a positive , healing part of their future, even if it digs into it ; it also brings it to the surface , where it can be shared. I am glad they are talking to the media.
