  1. That behavior fits what we see about this man who turned out to be a fraud, a thief, a liar and a murderer. The picture is clear and the jury gave the correct verdict. More discoveries may turn out, that would sink that nefarious person, even deeper than he currently is. A monster comes to mind.

  2. My memory of Andrea Yates, who was also a nurse, suffering from post partum depression did look like a zombie, when she drowned her five kids. No question there, she was out of her mind when she did it. The first trial found her guilty as her second one found her to be insane, at the time she killed her kids. She is now in some psych facility, talking about her kids and missing them, while she performs some manual creative projects. Her attorney visits her once a months and tends to the graves of her kids. That tragic event leaves a hole in the heart of anyone, who reads about it. Hard to comprehend but it is one of our sadest realities, it could not have been prevented. We can say, " if only " but it happened and people move on. Very hard for that poor man who lost everything ! and of course the grandparents from both sides..Her parents have to be devastated, to the core. A tear jerker !

  4. A way to describe the look on her face is very revealing. She is defiant, arrogant and condescending. She sees herself, validated to have committed these murders, of people who were in her way and not of any benefit, any more. She is a monster, no other way to explain it. We can look at her wedding picture with Chad, in Hawaii as they used Tammy's life insurance money to pay for their hotel bills. They were having a fantastic time. Celebrating life after they had killed, people they should have loved and respected. Unbelievable !

His wife was divorcing him and the kid was about to drain his fortune, to zero, with the law suit over the dead girl. Nice going, old dude.......let's see if you can fool the jury !

  7. He also did not take away Alex's dignity . He navigated throughout the issue with tact, fairness and caution. He is the best Judge I have ever seen !!!!!!!

  8. Andrea Yates also did some planning as her mother in law was coming in mid morning. She drowned the kids, before the lady showed up. She made the call to the police, very composed. but she certainly appeared like a zombie. Andrea had been a beautiful girl, a degree RN, feeling fine until she married and started to have multiple kids. After the 3rd child, she was showing problems of being overwhelmed. Two more kids and she was barely functioning. She had been making her kids clothes, baking fantastic birthday cakes.....the perfect mom, but the pressure was building. Some women likely should never have more than one or two kids and stop there. Also, Andrea's husband wanted her to stay home. He did not want her to work. That may have been a mistake.

  11. We will never know how he killed her as he will not admit to it. He still hopes, he will wiggle out of jail, in some way, as long as he pretends to be innocent. Some people feel he drowned her in their pool while others feel, he strangled her. Would be nice if we could make him talk, but it would not bring her back but create more pain for her family. They suffered enough.

  16. Puzzling, not the typical post- partum psychosis. My guess is , she is schizophrenic and has not been diagnosed as such. She would know what she was doing but right and wrong are a blur, in terms of actual responsibility. The mind of a schizophrenic is very complicated; it can get exacerbated by hormones, like BC pills..or...alcohol, as a glass of wine, not necessarily a large quantity. Of course the drugs she took may actually have induced her to cause these murders, instead of preventing them. The use of drugs, is murky in these situations. The rate of failure is too high.

  24. She did not have time to suffer for very long as the last shot to he head, ended it all, very fast. The blow of the shots, puts people into instant shock so pain comes later. Maggie did not have the time to feel pain. Just confusion and it was over. That is my impression of how it went. All very fast. First Paul , then Maggie who was coming to see what was going on with her son. Alex was ready for it , and kept her, from her destination ! Seems premeditated.......not accidental.

  25. Fantastic job from the pathologist who appears to have gotten a serious ballistics class. Awesome ! I thought both Maggie and Paul had been shot in the back of their heads, not knowing who killed them, but I was wrong as there were several other wounds from the front, that show otherwise......It had to be a horrible scene. They knew who pulled that trigger, when they went down as the shots were at close range. Let Alex ponder about that one.

  26. That judge is the most wonderful human being ! When Alex said , that last time , he was innocent and everyone knew he was lying, the judge allowed him, the dignity to assume, these opiates he was on, likely took away his personality, to replace it by another.....So theoretically, he was another man instead of a vicious killer who slaughtered his wife and kid, and later lied about doing it. Congratulations, Judge, for giving a " fallen " man, a sense of respect and dignity. Also, thank you for giving him life instead of the death penalty. Death penalty would have opened a can of worms, totally unnecessary. Again, Sir, thank you !

  27. You do not need every little piece of organic material, to see a guy's head had been blown off. The deed is done and they have the evidence they need which will be circumstantial. Lots of it and enough to send him to jail for the rest of his life. Is the jury going to see through that manipulation, from the criminal defense lawyers or look at the evidence, which is damning ? Is it time to expose these corrupt people for what they are ? I hope so.

  31. He was sick of that kid, who was getting ready to be trialed for the accidental death of a girl, he was responsible for. She was in his boat and he was handling the boat, until he lost control and the girl died. Dad ( Alex) would have been reponsible for a huge law suit ( civil ). Now, a dead kid cannot be trialed. Case over. He needed to get rid of him. Maggie ? we heard, she wanted a divorce ! That is my personal intuition, trying to see what caused this slaughter. It was likely planned.

Just wondering ; it would make sense, the surprise element, not calling for help and realizing what had happened, not part of the "bargain"....When a prank becomes a murder, the mischievous enablers become accomplices.
