I support a $15 minimum wage because I believe that a higher minimum wage would do some good things: 1: It would decrease the number of people needing government assistance. 2: Minimum and low wage workers are the types of workers that typically live paycheck to paycheck, so if you give them more money to spend, it will cause them to spend it, and that would stimulate the economy because they may then spend it on some item that they really want and can now afford or on something like a nice meal out. 3: It would lift a lot of people out of poverty.
