Fox called Biden the winner of the election, so I bet that that's why. It's hard to be worse than Fox, but Newsmax is worse.

@stephanielewis5595 That only happens if nobody gets 270 electoral votes. In terms of rejecting electoral votes, that only happens if both the House and Senate agree.

@stephanielewis5595 That’s not how it works. If nobody gets a majority of electoral votes (currently 270), then the House decides the president with one vote per state, and the Senate decides the Vice President with one vote per Senator. Biden got 306 votes which is more than the 270 needed to win, so the House won’t decide. The House hasn’t decided since the 19th Century in fact.

@stephanielewis5595 False. The Electoral Count Act dictates this process, and nowhere in the act does it state that. It does state that both Houses have to agree to any objection for it to be valid. https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/3/15

@stephanielewis5595 It won't succeed though. No Democrat will vote to overturn the results, and they control the House of Representatives.
