  1. People don't like Nancy Pelosi. This scenario while bad for Republicans in the short term in that the Dems would have unified Government would be really bad for Dems when she has to run in 2020.

  2. Wrong, the Constitution explicitly states that the President appoints the Justice and the Senate is supposed to confirm. Do you really think that Trump will nominate Garland?

  3. @RDR Garland was nominated by Obama. Trump never nominated him. Also, nominees expire if Congress doesn't confirm them as was the case with Garland.
