  2. That is possible, but I don't think that it's likely. But then again, it would probably be based on whether he thought that it could outlast a Biden administration. Even if he does resign, it would have to be before January 3rd if Democrats take the Senate or else Trump wouldn't be able to get his pick through.

  3. However, if Democrats get a trifecta and he does this and Trump's pick gets through, that would make Democrats more likely to pack SCOTUS, which would probably factor into any decision he makes. I agree with you in that I don't view this as likely.
