  1. Democrats aren't proposing confiscation, and they have no issues with law abiding citizens owning one to hunt and for self defense. However, there needs to be reasonable regulations including universal background checks to ensure that criminals and the mentally ill don't get there hands on it.

I have no problem with law abiding citizens owning a gun for self defense and hunting, but there needs to be reasonable regulations including red flag laws, universal background checks, banning weapons of war, raising the age to get one to 21, and codifying the ban on bump stocks that Trump did (one of the very, very few good things that he did).

  4.  @blaizegottman4139  Trump banned them because they made the Vegas shooting worse. Democrats should codify that into law so that it can't be reversed in the future.

  5. Out of curiosity, what regulations does Canada have on gun ownership? The US needs reasonable gun control including universal background checks.
