  6. The Soviets had a really great idea in making the crosswalks underground instead of on the surface street. They make good use of the tube to allow for below street level shops.

  7. I remember the Tower Records store in the Marina District. It was the place to check out new music and buy your records. Thankfully there are still a number of used record stores in SF and Berkeley.

  17. There’s a circular street in that neighborhood that was once around the 1900’s was a racetrack. If you look at the street on google earth you can see the resemblance.
