  1. Thank you Valeria for your video's! I hope to visit someday to Moscow with my daughter. She works for a computer company that has offices in Moscow. I have been looking at other video's by Janna Travels and Real Russia. I really enjoy Oreili Reshka the travel TV show. I believe it may be based in Ukraine. I've always had an interest in Russia and during Soviet times since I was a small child. I just found your channel this evening. I will enjoy the rest of my evening catching up with you!   2. Your city is very neat and tidy from your video's that I have seen. The people take pride in their city. I have not seen any sign of graffiti on buildings and utility boxes like in some parts of the US cities. Thank you for sharing!

  4. I stopped watching broadcast television also. I’m in the us. Their news is very un reliable. I get more boots on the ground news here on YouTube. I love catching up with Alex and Valeria too. They are genuine good people.

  8. If I lived in Russia I think I would stay. I live in a state that I love and I was born here, California. It’s almost like it’s own country. I am very much against the politics here in California. But still it’s my home. My family is here. It’s a beautiful place, California. I am staying to make this a better place. Like Russia most people in California are really good hard working people. It’s the government that is the problem here. I hear that the ruble is now gold backed. Is that true? You explain to us prices of various foods and products. Your prices compared to California are very low compared to the US prices.

  13. Thank You Valeria for this video. Your video's are so realistic it's like taking a vacation for the evening :) You speak very very well. Did you live in America or the UK for a time? I live in the San Francisco Bay Area near Apple Computer and Google, There are some Russian people here but not very many that I have met. I have heard there are Russian communities near New York and Toronto Canada. We have a small town about 100 miles north of San Francisco called Fort Ross and was founded by Russian fur traders in the 1800's before California was a state of the US.   20. Your mall is way more lively than our malls here in California where many business are gone. JC Penny, Sears, Burlington Coat Factory all gone in our malls. Also all buffet restaurants. All gone.

  22. We have a similar sounding city in Northern California. It’s called Fresno. It’s in the Centre of the state in an area that is called the breadbasket of the country. Many of our fruits and vegetables are grown in and near Fresno. We are in a bit of a drought here in California the last few years. Thanks for your video’s ! I just watched your tea episode at your dacha home. It was so well done and personal I felt like my wife and I were your guests. Someday I would love to visit Russia. Blessings, Steve

  23. We have similar transit system in San Francisco it’s called BART Bay Area Rapid Transit. One of the underground tunnels of BART goes under the San Francisco Bay between Oakland and San Francisco. It’s pretty deep. Your ears pop going through it.

  30. I have met only a few Russian language speakers here in SF Bay Area. Not many Americans know Cyrillic and Russian language. There is virtually no signs in Russian other than the Russian supermarket in the town where I live. There are Russian Engineers that live across the bay in Silicon Valley. Perhaps they work at the big internet companies.

  37. Gasoline prices in San Francisco Bay Area average $5.50 a gallon for regular unleaded 87 octane. It’s pretty high here due to taxes. Gas In other parts of the country are somewhat cheaper.

  40. Moscow has the one and only 5 star underground transport. The closest that we have to it is the BART Bay Area Rapid Transit in San Francisco Bay Area of California. No where near as nice as your Metro!
