Honestly it's not that should hide replies, they should let people click at their own risks to see replies instead of exposing them to our faces everytime we look at a tweet like they've been doing so far. When I wanna know when the next Pokémon game comes out, I don't want to hear about some jackass hating on a game he's going to buy anyway unless I decide that I want to. But no, if Twitter cared about the Twitter experience more than they cared about engagement, no matter how negative, sanity would be rampant and I'm not quite sure that's what they want.
