Keith Kuntabout, you have it wrong, on this occasion! America wants an excuse to enter the Ukraine, to be militarily closer to the Russian border. To do this it has to blame Russia for something, especially the accusation of entering the Ukraine illegally. This will force China and Russia to become closer and therefore the whole of the world and NATO can then blame those two countries for everything that happens.
