@johnrandall125 You should’ve seen how a post office clerk treated my returned CD to its supplier. She did it in front of me. The CD flew through the air hit the wall and dropped into the correct sack behind her. She just looked at me and said “thank you”.

Yes, then they take it out of the porch, or away from the front door, and take it home for themselves. At least they gave you a photo of what you paid for.

They are all self-employed. They use their own vehicles and after a few years there is nothing left of the vehicle: it is worn down to a piece of scrap metal . However, at least they had a job at one time.

@adrianchetwynd1334 So true and surprisingly we had to hand America some of our valued territories to acquire their so-called help, which they begrudgingly gave partway through the war. It’s nice to have such a special relationship with another country, is it not.

@marthas.4456 Ironically, Royal Mail is now privatised and is run on a capitalistic basis. Theoretically, it should’ve improved – private enterprise and all that.
