  1. In the United States, the threshold for paying inheritance tax is $12 million – no surprise that English people remain poor generation after generation. As Andrew has said: it is not a tax on the rich, it is a tax on the poor and the middle-class.

  2.  @Tensquaremetreworkshop  I was not aware of that. As far as I know, lottery wins are tax free within the UK.
