Europe divided? Really? I don't think I have ever in 40 years seen Europe so united as it is over Ukraine. You should be ashamed of click-bait nonsense like this. As to who can help Ukraine........we all are, and it's working.

@paruhangrai7389 Gormless comment. Russia is down to 3000 serviceable tanks for a start, and the second they start sending them towards the Baltics they get kicked out of Ukraine. They don't have millions of soldiers, and the rabble they sent to Ukraine is going backwards every day. Oh, and the Suwalki gap is in Western Europe, not the east. Before you spread Russian propoganda, do yourself a favour and educate yourself about the basics first.
16
@TomTKK That's what sociopathy looks like, folks.
10
I think you are being unduly pessimistic. Patience, grasshopper!
7
@eveleung8855 The you really aren't thinking very hard.
7
They are further from Odessa than at any time since last February. Their navy can't come within 200km of the coast for fear of anti-ship missiles. Their planes can only fly behind their own lines. And they lost Kherson NW of the river, which was the only over-land route to Odessa. So, you're a fool, a liar, or a troll.
6
@panongkone No, it was actualkly the other way aroundmin history. Ukraine existed before Russia.
5
@antony6799 Spot the Russian troll.

What if the next variant is as transmissable as Omicron but as dangerous as smallpox?
4
@r0conscious Yes, it will. If it mutates enough they'll change the formula of the vaccines, but at the moment there is enough of the target protein still in the variants to enable the immune system to do its job after being educated by the vaccine.
4
@lisapet160 You don't know this yet (anything about Omicron). No-one does. You might end up being right, but it is far too early to tell. Bear in mind that the population it is circulating in is South Africa, which has a very young demographic. Wait until it gets going in a more typical western European population before assessing whether it is a mild disease or not. We've never had "natural covid strains infections" (whatever that is supposed to mean), before now. This is a new disease. We've had previous corona viruses, but no previous covid.

The survival of the host is utterly irrelevant to a virus, so long as they (the virus) have replicated and spread to another host before the first one dies. The selection pressure therefore is to either spread quickly, or to spread before the host knows they are infected and takes counter-measures. The latter can be achieved by a period of dormancy or without symptoms. As an aside, there are viruses with 100% mortality, from my dim and distant memory. There was a disease known as green monkey disease which emerged in Central Africa, for instance.
3
@EllieandHorses Believing something isn't in any way going to influence reality, though! Sorry, but we have to take the rough with the smooth.
3
No, you haven't troll. Their supplies are much reduced, but no-one has ever claimed they were running out of ammo.
3
You hope what breaks?
3
@jonathanjacob5453 Maybe you trolls should be a little bit more subtle.
3
@TomTKK No, indeed. However, "killing ......can't be bad" is sociopathy.
3
@stevenliew2507 That is ignorant twaddle. Vaccines suppress nothing at all. They educate your immune system to spot a particular protein.
3
There is no massive revolt anywhere. Well, other than in your imagination.
2
Almost every single word you just posted is pure fiction.
2
Ridiculous scare-mongering. Russia will not even contemplate attacking Nato. The net result would of course be the loss of Kaliningrad, and further massive destruction of their already-weakened armed forces.
2
Piss off troll. No-one has ever said that's all Russia has. Oh, and dimwit, why do you think they want washing machines? (Clue.......they contain micro-chips, and Russia can't get them any other way).
2
@djaxxon2015 There was no economic embargo. There was a very short travel ban, which was a logical but doomed attempt to slow the import of the virus. This new variant hasn't been listed by the WHO as "of concern". Epidemiologists just aren't as worried about it as they were Omicron. It has been around for at least as long as Omicron, and hasn't spread much.
2
I've got a thousand pounds here which says that won't happen.
2
Except they didn't. They lost another 1000 men trying, though.
2
@sushi_wolf Except that Russia's doctrine is to immediately launch a counter-attack as soon as it loses ground anywhere. Their attacks are primitive human-wave attacks, and so are extremely costly in manpower terms. Whilst the attackers' losses are undoubted, in this particular war, for the reason I have just outlined, so is the defender's.
2
@basiwolf9147 You'd have a point if A/ the counter-offensive had stopped, and B/ if you understood that the first line of defence is on the contact line.
2
@jonathanjacob5453 Righto, troll, whatever you say.
2
@richlipshanic915 Sweden has between 4 and 7 times the death rates from covid of its neighbouring Nordic countries. I am no longer surprised that some people choose to overlook this fact.
2
@braininavatnow9197 Ah, a sociopath. How do you know you're safe?
2
@JuliusCeaser_ Me? Uneducated? Two degrees, a Masters, and a PhD. Try again....
1
@belescli Well, that's maybe because I speak English, not gibberish.
1
@kennethbryan3738 You trolls are out in force today, lying for Putin.
1
No, half-wit, he didn't. The Americans beat the Taliban militarily pretty quickly. It was their failure to build democracy and a decent army in Afghanistan which was the disaster, not the military campaign.
1
@Peter-gt6jq Piss off troll. Invading land and claiming it is yours doesn't make it yours. There is no-one on the planet recognising Russia's right to Crimea. It's going to be such fun watching trolls heads explode when Russia is trying to defend an entirely isolated Crimea.
1
@lexluger6904 You've never heard the expression? It's a light-hearted way of saying "just you wait and see". As for your first sentence (well, attempt at a sentence), your English appalling old chap. I haven't the first idea what you are trying to say.
1
@lance8080 Why do you think I would take the slightest notice of someone so dimwitted that they can't spell "you're"?
1
@notawidow6560 I don't agree, but both of us are guessing.
1
Do you want to try that again, but in English this time?
1
He'd have said "get vaccinated". Vaccines would have seemed like an absolute miracle to Darwin.
1
@alanjm1234 Oh dear. You couldn't even make it as far as the second half of my first sentence: "so long as they (the virus) have replicated and spread to another host before the first one dies."
1
"Seemingly rapid" advances. Don't you people think? An editorial read-through should eliminate idiocy like this. "Incredibly rapid" would be far more apt.
1
Keep on telling yourself that, troll.
1
@joexavier4070 No. From Youtube sites, maybe, but not from any reputable places.
1
Oh dear, didn't they bail your corrupt and bankrupt country out quickly enough?
1
@pensatoreseneca It's got more than it needs at the moment.
1
Russia is corrupt by design. It's a kleptocracy. What has that got to do with anything?
1
Negotiation? Have you thought that through at all? If someone broke into your house and took over the ground floor, leaving you upstairs, tell me what there would be to negotiate about.
1
@frankrenda2519 Just keep on telloing youirself that, dimwit. One day you might even begin to believe ity yourself.
1
@jonathanjacob5453 Everything you write is negative. You're trolling.
