It's not his motivations which are to be questioned, but the invader's. He has negotiated at every possible opportunity, but Russia wants what Russia wants, and no amount of victim blaming by you or anyone else is going to change that. This is 100% Russia's fault, and trying to blame their peaceful neighbour is beyond ridiculous.

  9.  @vmm5163  Nukraine hasn't tried to join NATO. They have made no such application. Nor do they have "Nato weapons bases", whatever that is supposed to mean. Why do you spread lies? Can you not answer your own question about why they would try to have a modern army, given that Russia has invaded 3 times in the last 7 years?

Ukraine has not tried. I will say it again: Ukraine has not tried to join Nato. So you asking why they had tried is pretty idiotic, isn't it, given that they haven't tried. Are you here trolling for the motherland? For my education, could you name the international treaty they signed and lodged with the UN in which they agreed to not join Nato. Thanks.
