@1xnph Context, Jodie, context. Read my responses and the posts they related to. A perfectly reasoned post (not by me) about the millions of animals which die every day as they're eaten by others was followed by someone telling the poster that they will go to hell. That is what drew my ire. Religious types think it's acceptable to behave like that, and then they get all defensive when the rest of us say..."there is no hell, because....." Please, back off. You are the one who is trying to control what others write. I respectfully disagree with your position on religion, and I disrespectively disagree with your approach to silencing critics.

Maybe you are so blinded by your own self-righteousness that you don't see the wrongdoing of your religious fellow-travellers.

@1xnph Jodie, I hope you'll understand that I won't be taking your advice. I won't keep my opinions to myself. You religious types don't get to have a free run, posting your propoganda everywhere and not expecting a response. Oh, and I don't have a belief system. I don't do belief at all. I seek evidence. When there is testable, falsifiable, repeatable evidence for your god or gods, please let me know. Until then the null hypothesis should be assumed: one doesn't assume the existence of something for which there is no evidence. As for your points about respect........I'd rather respect the truth than try not to hurt someone's feelings by lying. Enough people have been lied to already, and that's precisely how we've got religion surviving into the 21st century.

@mu0325 Not brown hyaenas. There is a very great deal of difference between a brown hyaena and a spotted or striped hyaena. The brown hyaena, also know as a strand wolf, is a scavenger.
