@natsuhideaki3793 Fruit flies aren't parasites. And there are plenty of candidates for "most abhorrent". Try the bot fly. Or Onchocerca volvulus. Or the tongue-eating louse (look it up...the pictures are...erm.......interesting.

@tonimcmullen5490 No, he wasn't devout at all. He was brought up religious, but the more he found out about the world, the less religious he became. Wallace was the chap you are talking about, and his work was equally brilliant. They collaborated, and published together.

@priyadarshanigalhena1164 I doubt it. I suspect the behaviour came first, and was hijacked by the superstitious as they developed religion. Not the other way around.
