  1. when i was in high school i got suspended just for being sucker punched… I never hit back or anything.. i never even really did anything to deserve it.. but thats how ridiculous the school systems “zero tolerance policy” is since the mid 2000’s… if you fight back or protect yourself you could be expelled. Its insane

  7. thankfully my grandma still had her wits about her when she was in one.. she knew when her things were stolen and got some “nurses” fired for it.. unfortunately we lost her during lockdown which I think she died of loneliness once we werent allowed to go see her anymore.

  8. yah problem with policies like that is how you prove who instigated things. I got suspended from highschool for 2 weeks in 2006 for getting my lip busted and I never even swung back. “zero tolerance policy”

  15. as a maintenance worker who checks air filters and doesn’t have a work uniform this kind of makes me nervous.. i mean the landlord emails all the tenants when I’m coming, and I also have a key to all the units, so Im not kicking down doors to change air filters.. but still is always on my mind “what if someone mistakes me for an intruder and kills me”
