I do think the second chance to improve the grade is a good idea, especially in elementary 1st-8th grade where you could have kids who are actually really intelligent but maybe they have ADHD or something and it got overlooked... and the current grading system is a really flawed measure of ability/intelligence, so this really doesn't seem like a huge deal.. I mean we should for sure allow someone to keep trying to learn.. because thats the whole point of school.. its to learn.. it isnt a game you win or lose lol
