@exilemike that’s not true, the ADA doesn’t define what counts as a service animal or even a disability, ... that is up to a doctor

@exilemike the ADA only has a very loose definition that says the dog must be trained to perform a task for the person with a disability, so an emotional support dog trained to simply intervene during lets say a panic attack would count. On top of that, there are no standardized guidelines for what counts as service training or even as a disability, so anyone can just say “my dog is trained to do XYX for me”.. and nobody is allowed to ask for proof of training or disability.. Source: I traveled the country with my service animal.
