the fact that they told his family he died from a car crash is so messed up

the lenders who didnt do their due diligence should be required to give legitimate interest free loans to the victims

The Mississippi River scares the F out of me

prison should have be for only the most violent and depraved criminals.. half the stuff people are in there for shouldn’t even be illegal
20
but that just means he had a few minutes to accept the Lord and avoid eternal damnation

almost got mugged in City Park on Thursday. Saved by situational awareness and a group of runners that we ran to. Then the mugger flips us off for getting away. I wasn’t sold before that, but now im convinced New Orleans is trash .. let it fall in the ocean. Just dont let the people move to the North Shore when it does.

sounds like the bar was doing what they were supposed to by refusing service to underaged shooter.. why should they be hit with padlock ordinance? Thats backwards as hell
17
with role models like lil wayne and snoopp dogg, aka the bloods and crips what do yall expect.. stop promoting doing hood crap as a way to get out of the hood..
17
People drive like they are late to their own funeral.. I can’t stand taking trips to New Orleans or Baton Rouge much anymore. Everyone is SO aggressive or just plain stupid on the road.. I was passed by a group of cars going over 90mph in a 60, then here comes the police officer speeding right beside them..
13
weird cause my doctor recommended it to me
12
and also the fastest shrinking land mass lol
11
when she said festering heap of debris and garbage i thought she just meant New Orleans in general
11
let us grow at home
10
ok explain them lying to his family about how he died, though...

just take the fences down around the lakefront already.. the city has bigger problems than keeping people from enjoying the lake… alligators are an assumed risk in every major body of water in the state.. we grew up swimming in these rivers and lakes and we always knew the danger, but we swam anyways. Just like there is a risk of shark attack in the ocean. People are more likely to get hurt falling in glass trying to jump the fence. There is so little opportunity for safe recreation in the city that this is what people end up resorting to. I went to fish the pier under seabrook bridge recently and it has collapsed into the water and just a huge mess everywhere and sketchy characters all around.. People in that city have so many wasted opportunities just laying around going to crap. A cleanup crew with a tractor and a brush-hog could probably have that beach area decent in under a week if the paperwork just got signed.. I guess they would rather keep these areas as homeless camps than places for normal functioning people to enjoy
10
they probably stole the guns..
10
You know somebody taught those boys that that’s how you train a duck hunting dog
9
i think ive said this but you dont have to choose sides in the war.. just be anti-war..
9
the excuses for the crime is a bit much... get a cheap lawn mower and cut lawns if you that broke.. don't rob innocent people.... someone tried to mug my fiancee and I right after i proposed to her in NOLA City Park at a spot that was special to us... ruined a perfect moment... will probably never go back there either... by the way im a broke guy that mows lawns instead of robbing people.
9
so some of the richest communities have the lowest rates… nice
8
total bull.. practically unheard of… it was the other drugs
8
and what if he had grabbed the officers gun? Remember, he threatened to shoot the store owner…
8
once you steal a car you are a grown ass man
8
it makes sense. Rather than have a high speed chase and wreck the vehicle, you track the vehicle to the suspects home where you can recover the vehicle and apprehend the suspect without risking as much collateral damage.
8
make no mistake, miscarriages will open women up to investigation with this law…
8
we will be screwed in LA.. drive around tangipahoa parish and you will see every single drainage ditch packed with logs snd brush from tree crews that dont understand what the word easement means…
7
stop talking about grow licenses and just let everyone grow the crap for christ’s sake
7
New Orleans East is a lost cause
7
@Hello-jx2qc extremist religious zealot boomer.. just look at her profile yikes
7
yep lets ignore that practically every case of “kratom overdose” ever reported has involved other drugs.
6
what world do you live in where police can get to the scene in time to stop something like this?
6
no
6
Thanks, cops..
6
the village is for everyone.. for everyone to continue renting and never be able to own a home
6
almost looks like attempted murder to me… Being followed isn’t a direct threat and that’s not going to fly in court
5
so why haven’t they done the dive yet?
5
you can haul your garbage to the local dump for free in most places. I do it every week.. got tired of paying for weekly service that was not always weekly
5
Shameful.. not paying youth for the summer jobs you had them work.. kids that are trying to do the right thing and be productive members of society.. only you teach them honest work doesn’t pay, so actually risk leading them down the wrong path like WTF
5
you are some kind of special
5
sounds like a bad case of the good ol boys cruption
5
please do not pepper spray a guy pointing a gun at you
5
I dont have amazing opportunities.. but somehow havent jacked any cars.
5

5

5
bro who never flooded getting sand is really thinkin “This will be great for leveling my lawn”
4
that would make too much sense
4
i cant wait to get kicked off of medicaid and pay $2000 a month for my wifes medication
4
I grew up in a small town north of the lake.. crime went up dramatically after Katrina brought transplants from New Orleans.. I love visiting the city once in a while because there is a lot of fun stuff to do there, but not worth dealing with the BS of living there. Everyone I know who lives there has a story of being burglarized, mugged, carjacked, etc… they all say “its the best city in the world”.. but im pretty sure thats just the alcoholism
4
Its sad.. Statistically if Louisiana had a 100% voter turnout we would be a blue state. What happened to democracy?
4
he is sorry… that he got caught
