  1. There weren’t even Democrat candidates for many elected positions in a lot of these parishes… i know that was the case on my ballot.. maybe the right wing extremism has gotten to the point that people are afraid to let their political views be known.. or just realize its futile to resist the rising tide of ignorance. Happy to pay these outrageous 10% sales tax, but throw a fit if the chemical plant giving you cancer has to pay a penny.
