  1. trees do have lifespans unfortunately.. the lifespans shorten with extreme weather.. lots of trees dying from the drought, too much water last year, hurricane damage etc.. I stopped being so sentimental about trees after Ida, which is when I realized nature doesnt give AF about big trees. Nature hates big trees. All of my biggest trees fell or snapped.. Thousands more plants will fill the space until another tree grows and the cycle repeats again in another 200 years.
