People are just butthurt that she sat on the carjackers side of the courtroom and not the victims. This has nothing to do with how good of a job she's doing as mayor.

@ashleygomila3561 people always look for someone to blame, it's human nature and I get it. But crime is a nationwide problem and isn't local. And it's tied to economics, a lot of people don't realize that yet. You can't please everyone, we gotta look at the overarching job being done. During the pandemic, half the city wanted her to shut down Mardi gras, the other half wanted it to go on. You can't please everyone. But emotions aside, I really don't see the horrible job that's warranted her ousting as mayor...

@ashleygomila3561 I never said she was a great mayor, I didn't even say she is a good mayor, I'm just saying I don't feel we hold the same standards for mayor's of the past and I doubt we will hold them for mayor's of the future. I totally agree about the crime but again, it's not an isolated issue so I don't think bad crime stats is worthy of impeachment. I don't think any mayor has ever been removed from office for bad crime stats, and New Orleans isn't even in the top 20 for cities with the highest crime rate. So I don't see what all the hoopla is about. One can only assume it's for reasons other than her actual performance as a mayor.
