  1. It's much easier to do in a van. You can get a Icy Breeze for the summer heat. In winter just get a 30 below sleeping bag, you'll be more than warm. And can actually have enough room to lay down and stretch your legs out. Get a gym membership or use a truck stop to shower. Instead of cooking, get takeout and eat lots of food you can store like fruits and veggies, nuts, canned foods, bread, sliced cheese and cold cuts, peanut butter and jelly, etc. Every once in a while treat yourself to a hotel room. It's an excellent way to save money. It's also good if you just want the time and freedom to figure things out without having the responsibilities of paying rent and bills.
