  1. Washing machines are a luxury. Air conditioning is a luxury. Being able to call 911 and have a police officer at your door in minutes, is a luxury. Not having to kill, butcher and cook your own chicken, is a luxury. We have been conditioned to think these are standard, everyday things. They are luxuries.

  3. I like gold, but i have a little of everything. Even platinum and cryptos, but Im not married to any of them. My true love is land. Thats my end game, thats why i do this. To have enough to purchase a substantial amount of land and enough left over to pay the taxes on said land for the rest of my life. To me, precious metals is just the most logical way of saving my money, but thats where the attachment ends.

  5. Good on you man. I bought a 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan for $500 and I got 7 months out of it. It was and still is a strong vehicle. The brakes went out and the windshield wipers stopped working so I trashed it, but if I got those fixed I could easily get years more out of that van. At the time I was homeless but still had a job so I slept in it most nights and saved thousands of dollars. I actually got it just for that purpose. I would park and sleep at the lakeshore or in the park....it wasn't that bad...

  10. I noticed one of my Paypal accounts went NEGATIVE the other day. That's never happened before. Until then, if you didn't have the funds in your account the transaction would be declined. I wonder if there will be overdraft fees...
