I saw this cultural shift during my last 5 years in the U. S. Navy. Suddenly women were allowed on combat vessels and everything changed. Being on a navy destroyer is bad enough but having to watch every damn syllable that leaves your lips made it completely miserable. I’m so glad I retired in 2002. It must be a Ridley Scott nightmare now.

@Sheriden. Before women entered the workforce it was called Personnel not HR. Be honest, what happens to any man who is merely alleged to have done anything wrong? Is he treated impartially? No. Is he assumed innocent until proven guilty? No. If a woman harasses a man and the man complains what happens to the man? Same as if he was the alleged perpetrator. Not all women make false allegations but EVERY WOMAN CAN!

As I have already said, a woman need only make an accusation, true or untrue, and the man’s career is pretty much over. He is automatically guilty. Don’t virtue signal and tell me I’m wrong. I wish I were wrong. Look what that lying skank Ford did to Brett Kavanaugh. Different situation but the principle remains the same. Women have all the power. Do you think it’s just a coincidence that most men are refusing to interact with women beyond the job? Cmon. Try reality.

@akdreamer6497 In reality it is true. The most powerful woman in any company is the one that walks into HR claiming harassment. The guilt or innocence of the man accused is irrelevant. I was in the Navy for twenty years and never had that kind of a problem.

One complaint from a woman, phony or real, can destroy a man’s career in seconds. Tell me, how many women have been on the losing end?

As you are probably a clueless Zoomer you just looked it up on Wikipedia, 😂😂 and found the 1910 article. I can easily remember having to report to Personnel to fill out my W-4 and other information. Also, your comment has absolutely nothing to do with my point. Shocker.

If a guy complained to HR that a woman was bullying him the laughter would be historic and they’d find a way to make it his fault. I’ve seen these things many times.
