I appreciate Europeans who oppose and criticise us, but aren't hateful or discriminatory towards us. Media is radicalising people, which further makes any compromise harder and integration as well.

@Seraph2077 boy. You lack historical knowledge Even Christian historians agree that cordoba was an exception to everything in europe. It was tolerant to Christians, but especially to jews (because jews did not wage war on them). The visigothic kingdom fell for good, they were persecuting jews, arian Christians and having a civil war that was devastating the peasantry.

Honestly, nobody is imposing sharia or even advocating for it. There are those who ask to be given the right to self-rule in accordance to sharia laws. This is currently not allowed, since courts insist on having monopoly or ruling.

@juan-ko5hz honestly, not legislating laws for your community make things more chaotic. Muslims entered into this dark age after 1200 years of progress, then failed. Isn't this a good track record?

I hope you really look into it, especially since you're an open minded dutch. I'm sure you'll find out about official narrative bias and the Israeli lobby lies, as well as Netanyahu's exaggeration when he compared this with the .... you know it.

@SirThanksalot_1 having no moral guidelines will make the people choose their own new ones. If they chose nazism, fascism, socialism, feudalism, anarch-capitalism, darwinism (superior race theories), etc... it has proven to be more dangerous in a matter of only 100 years, and we call this "the most peaceful era" for some untrue reasons.

@ModernHellene Christians didn't fight muslims out of jealousy, buy because the church brainwashed (I hate using this word but it's the reality) them to do it, nobilities always want gains like lands and slaves (serfs) and merchants were given economic promises that they were not allowed in muslim lands, so there was more incentives than jealousy or hate. And honestly, yes, muslim countries nowadays are materially/economically less developed, and I believe we're living in our own dark ages, and it'll take a long time for us to get out of it, especially with foreign interventions not allowing us to change by aiding our regimes.

@hasanabduqayumov secularism is an impossible ideology. A dogma itself. No country can survive with it. Every country that claims it has an ideology, mainly nationalism, which practically serves as a religion, where if you refused to lie for it, spend for it, fight for it, etc... you'd be considered a traitor. That's religion, and us trying to achieve secularism caused such instability.
