  2.  @randomname5585  if you considered only the adult independent population, then it would be 50 million, and only 20 if you considered those who were financially capable and willing to take part in the process, as most of ethiopians live under poverty. And so if we considered only 25 million people planted trees, and i remember at the time the price of plants more than quadrupled because of demand, so 8 plants per person, which is too much. You can imagine the amount of struggle we had to go through just to break india's record, until we did, India had 50 million and 350 to 400 for ethiopia
