If france repaid for the material loss, let alone the educated people who were murdered, it would be paying at least hundreds of billions of euros, France stole the treasury, took loans to from Algeria before 2 centuries and never repaid, demolished infrastructures, nationalized Algerians properties, experimented their nuclear arsenal on Algerian people and lands and much more. If only the money was invested, it would at least be in hundreds of billions. Algeria would be the richest country of Africa

It never makes up for these years of colonial rule that killed educated people, stole the treasury, fractured it's territories, experimented nuclear weapons on their people and lands and devastated it's economy. Millions were killed and other millions were robbed, the country was impaired, let alone the 2 centuries old loans france never paid as we know Algeria was richer than France, if these resources were invested, now Algeria would be richer than France.
