I'm an african, not pakistani, but find Pakistan's claim to be more legitimate from that I heard and read, even from indians talkimg about it, it seems like they're saying "these people are too bad and uneducated, they shouldn't have any freedom," which is the same thing Europeans told us when they wanted to keep their control of Africa

  4. Your 1st element is especially wrong. 1, britain offered two solutions, monarchically or democratically placing kashmir. India chose the monarchy's route, pakistan chose the democratic one, both probably cuz it served their agendas.

  6. ​ @rachnakaarji  1st, every state was determined, except kashmir, it's in a conflict, and socio-political decisions are made via democratic processes. That's a civilised way, and i think you're a civilised person. 2nd, every state was determined by its demography, hindu/buddhist majority and equal areas went to india, muslim majorities went to Pakistan. By this law, Kashmir should've gone to Pakistan, but it's irresponsible ruler had other plans and ideas, without asking his people. India wants the monarch's decision, is it a right thing to determine the fate of a whole nation by its king?

  8. India and pakistan are the same country, different names. You can't actually say one is the origin, cuz Pakistan is also the heart of the indus valley civilization. So, india and Pakistan have the same and equal historical ​claim. So, don't mention history, cuz if we talk about history, then Pakistan will take all of india, cuz it is the indus valley core.  @rachnakaarji

  9. ​ @rachnakaarji  indus civilization is for all of indian subcontinent. You can't call it "pakistani" or "indian," cuz the state of india is as infant as the state of Pakistan. Just because the name "india" is older doesn't mean that indians are predecessors or precursors. It just means that india wants to connect itself more to its past. Can we just stop talking about this? This is so unproductive
