@The Underdog as well this law is in Christianity and judaism as well. It is one of the basic Abrahamic laws which include also monotheism and other laws. But it seems like Muslims are somehow more religious to still do it. And please check before you ask me any other questions

@The Underdog i was talking about apostasy punishment not polygamy, polygamy is actually permitted in most of the countries. But before Islam, men had the right to have unlimited wives. but became 4 at at most, and even polygamy is not allowed in islam if it will break down the family except if they had special medical cases, as well im sure that if you went to muslim countries and asked the men how many wives you have, im sure you won't find. But if you are asking about women right on this, you can search for it with dr.zakir cuz i don't think you expect from me to write a book on this subject for you
