  1.  @mexicanspec  Look up the 22nd Amendment. 8 years is all they get. Only FDR got elected 3 x, but that was because we were in WWII and it was before Amendment 22 was ratified.

  3. Bull shite. I grew up in a VERY LARGE ethnic family. The base bloodlines were English French Dutch Lithuanian. We had US Navy veterans, US Army veterans, US Marine veterans from WWI, WWII, and Korea. We had representation from Roman Catholics, a couple of Protestant denominations, an agnostic or two, and a Jewish friend who just enjoyed the family dynamic even though he kept Kosher and could eat almost none of our food. We had nurses, teachers, housewives, carpenters, coal miners, auto mechanics, college graduates, and railroad workers in the mix. Children of all ages played and interacted with adults. My grandparents' farm accommodated us all. Yes, it was loud and opinionated and heatedly political, but NO ONE stayed away because of a difference of lifestyle or belief system or vote. What kind of namby-pamby woosies are we raising in America???

  4. It is NOT your business how anyone voted but you. Secret ballot? Right?? Then respect it. Now, political discussions can be, and frequently are, lively. Even our founding fathers had spirited discussions. However, grow up and understand that a vote differing from yours doesn't make anyone evil. We have a Bill of Rights. Yours are not more important than any other citizen's.
