  1. What a pity that RFK, Jr. has a memory lapse (he was 24 at the time) when the near-meltdown of Three Mile Island threatened to wipe out most of the eastern seaboard via the Susquehanna River that drains into the Chesapeake Bay and into the Atlantic.

  2.  @nuqwestr  Don't tell me, chickie. I lived there and the press coverage was near-hysteria. It was a near-meltdown and friends of mine with degrees in nuclear physics were working round the clock to prevent a disaster. I was THERE.
