The media, when it conducts itself without political bias, keeps the populace informed, helps to unite us as a country, and, when officially editorializing, allows us to see other opinions than our own. The fourth estate is protected in our own Constitution. Freedom of the Press. The First Amendment in the Bill of Rights.

@SteamvilleQuintet We also had Huntley-Brinkley, Tom Brokaw, etc. It was when CNN ooened shop that things started to slide down the slippery slope.

This guy needs to realize that, when a writer for a media outlet is no longer unbiased, but, instead, slants to either liberal or conservative ideologies, then s/he is not a journalist/reporter, either.
