  3.  @izzywn5802  it literally doesn't change the point. Art isn't for everyone. There's plenty of bizarre stuff most won't understand.

  4.  @izzywn5802  game is as static as a picture. Difficulty is a part of the story and message. It was and always will be like that. This world is inseparable from you struggling with it. Not related to ER but in SEKIRO I had a weird interaction where character asked me "How much have you died? One? Two? Or so much that can't be counted?". The problem was that at that point I replayed the game so much that I got to that point not dying once, wich made the question strange as well as the hole narrative of the character suffering.

  5.  @izzywn5802  there's the difference between "there's nothing left but git gut" and "I'm enforcing it on myself". People already salty about summons being in the game, because the knowledge that you can win any fight by summoning tear is gnawing your mind. That's why SEKIRO is my favorite fromsoft game. No levels to overlevel, no equipment to cheese builds, no online to get help. Only you, katana and boss and no way around.
