He even said, there must be bloodshed if Turkey wants to rise as a Powerful Country ruling the Middle East. So America wants Turkey to be much more aggressive, as George said, Middle East is not Russia's or America's backyard, it is the backyard of Turkey. This is the root of problem, a smart geopolitical analyst must be able to predict the consequences of Turkey's invasion of Middle East. The minute Turkey starts ground invasion of Syria or Iraq, Russia will attack Turkey. Turkey have no right to rule the Islamic world, Caliphate is the right of Arabs, more specifically, of the Hashemite clan which is the clan of the prophet(pbuh). In fact, British promised to give Jordanian King's great grandfather an Arab Rule over Middle East, but they didn't keep their promise. Today, Russian expansion into Middle East forces the British to support Arab Caliphate to counter Russia. I assume, when Prince Charles becomes the King, Abdullah the second will become the Caliph.
