  1. The biggest problem with Pit Bulls is the type of people that own and often abandon them. To understand my point just visit any urban rescue. Sadly too many people that are unfit to keep a gold fish choose pit bulls for their first dogs.

  3. Wow, I must be from a different planet. I thought this video was an awful example of responsible dog ownership. I don't blame Pit Bulls for the way they are. I blame the terrible abuse of the dog by ignorant owners of all races. It is for that reason I think the breed should be allowed to pass. Keeping this breed going does not usually end well for the dogs. Why? Go to any shelter and you will get to see lots of Pit Bulls. I also believe that bringing a Pit with an unknown past into a neighborhood with children and seniors is a horrible idea. An even worse idea is when people own multiple Pits. I see a personal projection from the author to the dog breed and consider it unhealthy. Look at the dog bite and human fatality by dog breed statistics. Pits are nice dogs until something sets them off. They are known for being unpredictable. Pit Bulls should never be recommended to families that have not successfully cared for dogs over at least ten years. They are different from any other breed that I have come into contact. There are much better choices of dog types out there. I prefer mixed breeds best. I consider it irresponsible to spotlight Pit Bulls as some discriminated down and out breed that requires advertising. I understand people will hate my view but I mean no harm, especially for the dogs.

  4. Of all the animals on the planet why does Dodo commits almost 20% of their video efforts to Pitt Bulls? They are number one in dog bits and deaths to other dogs and humans. Does the dodo support dog fighting? I don't get it.

  5. If he owns a home he will have to disclose he has a pit bull. His insurance rates will go up.

  6. Sadly, in Philly, just as it is with children, there are too many pet owners that are not competent to own dogs.
