  1. Ilhan Omar is an empty suit. Full stop. I don’t take her seriously. All you need do to confirm this is just listen to her speak and view they way she carries herself. Let’s start with scarves and hats. Omar fancy’s herself a Somali pretty girl. She exhibits a sublime tone deafness regarding women’s rights and female suppression that is the hallmark of Islam. Female suppression also takes place in Christendom but you don’t see it on full display by other women in congress. Now let us talk about what she says and how she says it. Normally, when she speaks, she buries her love of America in the body of her talks and does not do a very good job of selling her belief. If you view most of her speeches about half of the text in said speeches are about herself. While she did show signs of depth in her exchange with Elliott Abrams and I do give her credit for that limited exchange. That said, Elliott Abrams was a watermelon sized bull’s eye in that moment. I also view Ms. Omar as confused and conflicted in her understanding of the US and its good parts. I’m also troubled by her seeming reluctance to speak harshly about the country that she escaped from. It is possible she may grow going forward and I will welcome any sight of that.
