Prediction, most of the children that these immigrants will raise will thrive much better than most of the children born and raised in Philly. Why? The emigrees children will not be raised by parents that preach grievance. I point this out not to be harsh but to point towards a better path. There is a toxic self-defeating parenting culture in Philly. It must change so the children can have brighter futures.

@utah2nyc250 I hope and think you will be wrong for the most part. That said Philadelphia and the area around it are full of economic opportunity for families that all pull together and limit self inflicted damage.

Very weak what aboutism. Homeless people are walking talking self inflicted wounds. Most of these immigrants were victims of political and economic circumstances. Yes, homelessness is a problem that can be solved but the two issues are not related.

@mysharona6754 What you say is true. That is why I believe in good parenting and economic education. That said homelessness outside of mental health issues, substance and alcohol is normally the result of lack of frugal life style, ill-considered procreation and a series of bad life economic choices.
