  1. Google Reuters dot com and then this article on their website: "Children, many ill, would be victims of Russia ban on U.S. adoption". Somewhere in this article some stats: "In 2011... 3,400 adoptions of Russian children by families abroad" and then "American families adopt more Russian children - 956 last year - than those of any other country". So, 2011: 956 Russian kids went to USA but 2,444 to the rest of the world. Your "excuse" with "Russia has a demographic problem" doesn't hold at all.

Unless somebody is totally blind or stupid, full of such "smart" asses on YT, it's so easy to comprehend why this particular RUS law: USA is the ONLY Elephant in the room, Russia's only old (cold war), obviously present and God know what future is gonna bring, enemy, Russia fears USA only, EU or UK? they can play EU and/or UK in any way they want but NOT USA. Yes, America is very weak under SOCIALIST Obama (and Putin knows THAT) but Reps control the House and Russia obviously knows THAT as well.

Last time I checked Russia intends (if Putin decides to sign this into law) to ban adoptions from USA ONLY, therefore: IF your statement has any sort of merit you gotta come up with REAL facts/stats easily verifiable on wikipedia or whatever where we can see that USA is indeed the ONLY country in the world that adopts Russian orphan children so by banning USA Russia will stop ALL Russian orphans to ever leave Russia, in THAT case your statement will finally stand. But until then...
