  1. "VAT went up three percent in September to 21%" I don't claim to have any degree in economics but don't you stimulate the economy and create economic growth by LOWERING taxes??? When Conservatives in Canada came to power in '06 they cut the sales tax (VAT) from 7% to 5% in just 2 years, one major reason, OIL another one, we didn't get hit with any kind of recession like in US or EU, so why EU politicians don't learn from POSITIVE experiences of other developed countries like Canada?
