This 'Catalonia vs. Spain' issue is similar to 'Scotland vs. UK' issue, as well as 'Quebec vs. Canada' issue, all three cases based on what happened HUNDREDS of years ago and NOTHING to do with MODERN UK, Spain or Canada, and for Scotland or Catalonia, ZERO to do with today's EU financial crisis.

So when ppl disagree with your POV, you call them nazi, when ppl DEMAND a DEMOCRATIC process for ANY such secession move, you call them fascists, I don't think with such EXTREME views you're gonna gain any political support or sympathy from anybody outside your little local community. And i have nothing in common with Spain or Spanish language, I speak English only and fully cherish the DEMOCRATIC process of ANY FREE country like Spain for instance. And I HATE Socialism as well.

Rest of Spain MUST have the FINAL say thru a NATIONAL referendum, that's DEMOCRACY, you do not unilaterally secede just b/c you hate what happened 298 years ago, again, a NATIONAL REFERENDUM not a local referendum reserved just for ppl who live in Catalonia. And if the majority of Spanish ppl allow you to secede, then you're free to secede, but first the ENTIRE Spain MUST have a say in the future of Catalonia.

It has nothing to do with any financial or current economical crisis in Spain or EU, like Quebec vs. CDA this is purely a HISTORICAL issue, french in Quebec HATE english traditions and Catalans never accepted their 3-century old defeat to the Kingdom of Spain, this secession, IF ever happens, will likely produce more chaos than prosperity for Catalonia, Spain or rest of EU, the last thing EU needs right now.

Buddy, your only case is based on the fact that your ppl never accepted the defeat over 'The Siege of Barcelona' at the end of Spanish War in 1714, so b/c of something that happened 298 years ago, your case has nothing to do with any lack of political freedoms ppl in a dictatorship like Cuba or Iran or China or North Korea experience every day, prove it that Spain is not a DEMOCRACY like Italy or France or Germany, UK, Belgium, Holland or CDA or USA, and only then ppl would agree with you.
