@bbphnix Yes, you're right but nowadays when we talk about muslim countries we mostly refer to the current hot potatoes, the ones in the Middle East, right? Turkey might be a muslim country BUT they are in NATO plus pretty much a secular nation for at least 4-5 decades, right? Turkey is also in EU and cannot afford to go Sharia if they wanna become EU Zone members. Albania in EU, same for Bosnia, no room for Sharia in EU, right? Middle East is the one with Sharia, right?

@theguyisinthailand A Conservative Christian (as opposite to a liberal mostly non-believer) is pro-life (life begins at conception) and strongly believes in traditional marriage (one man and one woman) w/o any form of violence against those with opposite views, extremely rare to see acts of violence at abortion clinics, on the other hand honor killings are very normal in the Muslim World where Sharia Law protects you against being convicted for CRIME, an ex. from CDA: /watch?v=IMBcEIlvqec

@theguyisinthailand You're making excellent points and as Canadian I salute you for that, BUT: any MUSLIM country in the world where SHARIA LAW is not part of the daily life? any muslim nation in the world who functions as a western type of democracy? As far as I know the answer is NO, if I'm wrong I'll stand corrected, therefore IMHO as long as Islam is strictly followed in ANY muslim country there will never be same rights and freedoms we in the western world have been used to for so long.
